Infoping processes your personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Key Definitions

Personal data is data that can be linked directly or indirectly to a living individual. Examples of personal data are name, address, phone number and e-mail address. Under certain circumstances, information about the IP number and your user activity, when using the Service, may constitute personal data.

Processing of personal data includes all handling of personal data such as collection, registration and storage.

Data controller is the one that alone or in combination with others determines the purpose and means of processing personal data and is ultimately responsible for processing according to applicable personal data laws.

Data we collect

We collect personal information when creating an Infoping Account and in subsequent use of the account. In order to give you a clear picture of how personal data is processed, we have divided the personal data into two categories based on how they are collected:

When you create and use an Infoping account, you provide information about yourself, such as name, phone number, and e-mail address. Personal data in this category is distinguished by you actively submitting them to us by, for example, fill in web forms, register the Infoping app, send messages to support, or give us feedback through features created for that purpose.

When using the Service, we store information about the usage. The information can be divided into the following categories:

Purpose of processing - What are the data used for?

We process and share your personal data with other companies (our sms providers) for the purpose of (I) fulfilling our contractual and legal obligations, (II) providing and administering your Infoping Account, (III) responding to customer service matters and fixing errors, (IV) Improve your user experience of the Service, (V) further develop the Service (including adapting it to what we believe are the users' wishes), as well as (VI) preventing, limiting, and investigating abuse of the Service. Improve user experience

We use personal data to provide you with a more user-friendly service. Personal data is also processed in order to allow us to customize the display of our Service to the device you use, thus giving you a better user experience.

Prevent, limit and investigate abuse

We use personal data regarding users' activities and technical data to prevent, limit and investigate various forms of abuse of the Service. As abuse, we include setting up fake profiles, "spamming", harassment, attempting to log in to someone else's Infoping Account, action in violation of Terms of Service or the special terms and conditions of the Service and any other act prohibited by law. If we detect abuse of the Service, and to prevent further abuse, we may provide information about your device or IP address using an identification service to prevent further abuse that device.

Transfer of personal data

In some cases, we share information with our subcontractors. We write agreements to ensure that such subcontractors process data in accordance with applicable privacy laws. We will not divulge, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose personal data beyond the terms of this Privacy Policy, unless we are required to do so as a result of legal obligation or if we have received your consent to such disclosure. If there is any suspicion that you have committed a crime in connection with the use of the Service, information may, upon request, be disclosed to the authorities.

Transfer of personal data to non-EU/EEA countries

If we transfer your personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA, we will write agreements and take other measures in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Storing and deleting personal data

We store your personal information as long as your Infoping Account is active or as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes of the processing as described in this Privacy Policy. Your personal data will be deleted or anonymized when they are no longer relevant for the purposes for which they have been collected.

Correction, Blocking, and Deletion

You are entitled to request a so-called registry extracts with information about what personal data we process about you. You are entitled to this information free of charge in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

You also have the right to request that we either correct, block or delete personal data in accordance with the applicable law.

Terminate your Infoping Account

If you choose to terminate your Infoping account, it is kept in quarantine for 90 days. The reason that Infoping applies this quarantine period is to prevent unauthorized account redemptions and other illegal actions where accounts are deleted by mistake or by others other than the account holder himself.

After the quarantine period, your personal information will usually be deleted or anonymized. However, there are two exceptions:

We may block your Infoping account if we have reason to suspect fraud or abuse of our Terms of Service. In case we have blocked an Infoping account, we reserve the right to store information from the blocked account for a longer period of time to prevent repeated abuse or violations of Terms of Service.


We have procedures and steps to ensure that no unauthorized access to your personal data is available, and to ensure that all processing of data is in accordance with current legislation. The measures include risk assessments, organizational and physical measures as well as procedures for managing personal data and monitoring issues regarding accessibility, correction, blocking and deletion of personal data.

Personal Data Controller

When you create an Infoping account, you are the data controller. When you sign an agreement with Infoping AB, Infoping acts as a data processor and is obliged to ensure that processing takes place in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws and regulations.
